Private project / application terms
THE 13 is a private, curated project. This form is an expression of interest only. Scareclub may accept or decline applications and may change, postpone or cancel the project or application process, subject to applicable law.
Applying, receiving an acknowledgment or having discussions does not guarantee review, a reply, selection, financing, payment, employment, a commission, screen credit, screening, festival participation, distribution or commercial results. No production engagement or commitment is created by this application. Participation and any obligations require a separate written agreement signed by the relevant parties.
Applicants bear their own application and preparation costs. Do not begin production or incur expenses in reliance on this call. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Scareclub and the project organisers are not responsible for application costs, lost opportunities, or losses arising from non-selection, process changes, cancellation or technical submission failures. Nothing excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You retain ownership of your work. You authorise the selection team to view your submitted samples solely to evaluate this application. This form grants no ownership transfer, publication, distribution or production rights. Share only material you are entitled to disclose; no separate confidentiality agreement is created by submitting.

Application privacy notice
Scareclub collects the details and links you submit to assess your application and contact you about THE 13. Required fields support review; phone, LinkedIn, social profiles, additional links and the personal note are optional.
Access is limited to the project’s authorised selection team and the hosting and email providers needed to operate this form. Those providers may process information outside Québec. Applications are kept in a server folder outside the public website; a notification is sent to the project inbox. Your details are not published or automatically added to the viewer mailing list. A short-lived pseudonymous anti-abuse identifier is used to limit repeated submissions; the application record does not store your IP address.
Records are used for application review and related follow-up, then handled according to applicable retention obligations. For access, correction, withdrawal of consent or a deletion request, contact the13@scareclub.com. Withdrawing information needed for review may prevent further consideration. This form does not add advertising trackers or store application details in browser storage.
